Makeup Favorites {May 2015}

 | Lipstick: MAC {Creme in your Coffee} | Eyeshadow: Urban Decay {Midnight Cowgirl} | Blush: Nars {Super Orgasm} |   Highlighter: MAC {soft and gentle} | Primer: Hourglass Veil | Foundation: MUFE  Mat Velvet +  |

Hey guys! I decided to do a post on makeup products I've been loving lately and I thought I showed some swatches of the products as well. I've been obsessed with shimmery makeup products as of late and haven't touched any of my more 'matte' products for over a month now. I think this has to do with the fact that when I have classes my makeup routine is more focused on oil free and long consistency so I stay clear from my more shimmery products that can make me look oily {after 6+ hours on campus}. Since I'm done with my first year of college {woah!} and heading into the luxury of summer I've been drawn to more fun products.

Before I start with the makeup I wanted to quickly mention my Tory Burch makeup bag. I bought it last year and it's been holding up very well {very easy to clean even if foundation spills all over..... guilty}. I've been however eyeing this Kate Spade makeup bag but I'll have to contain myself since mine works just fine.

MAC Lipstick in "Creme in your Coffee"

I've been obsessed with my MAC cremeshene lipstick in "Creme in your Coffee" which I would say is a perfect deep but wearable lipstick that has a mixture of brown and rosy red colors. You know when a lipstick is a hit when you're contemplating on buying a back up just in case. It's long lasting and a go to color since it works well with a "no makeup makeup look" and a dark eye look.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Midnight Cowgirl"

I've been in love with Urban Decay eyeshadows since my first ever palette from them. Their eyeshadows are creamy and last a long time even without eye primer. Urban Decay's eyeshadow in "Midnight Cowgirl" has been such a great stand alone color as of late, it reminds me of a perfect combination of their more popular colors "Virgin" and "Sin" {both found in their Naked one palette}.

Nars Blush in "Super Orgasm"

This Nars blush has been a favorite of mine for years {this is my second one}. During school time I would only wear this blush for going out at night but in the summer I often see myself applying it in the day time. "Super Orgasm" is a gorgeous shimmery {with bits of glitter} light peachy blush that gives off the look of glowy skin. Not going to lie I also apply this blush on my shoulders and collar bone for extra shimmer!

MAC 'Mineralize' Skinfinish in "Soft & Gentle"

As you can tell I haven't necessarily hit pan on this product yet since it is relatively new. Although it being new and all I have been using it for over a month now and I'm super impressed {and a tiny bit in love}. I was never really someone to use 'highlighters', I had used some sample products before but never jumped the highlight bandwagon until I met this product. Call me crazy but this product was worth the price and I'm in awe with what a difference highlight can make. I've been using this with a stippling brush so I grab just the right amount of product.

Hourglass Veil Primer

I can't say how much this product has changed my make up routine. It not only provides me with  SPF protection but it gives me a more matte finish while leaving my skin soft and bright. I tried swashing this product for y'all but when it comes to primers you really have to try the product yourself. I recommend next time you go to Sephora try the sample on display and ask for a free sample of it too. Trust me it is awesome!

MUFE: Matt Velvet +

Last but not least I've been obsessed with this foundation since I bought it in late January.  Although at the time I bought it in a shade darker {35} than my natural skin color it is now my perfect color since I have been self tanning. I apply this foundation with a beauty blender {talk about best applicator for foundation} and it hides all my imperfections.
